Luna and the Star Garden

by Merin Harper

A star-shaped seed glows beneath Luna’s pillow, and a path of moonbeams leads her into the Star Garden.

The story

Luna loves the sky in the daytime. But at night, ordinary things seem different: her chair becomes a crouching creature, her coat a tall, silent giant.

One evening a tiny silver glow shimmers beneath her pillow: a star-shaped seed, no bigger than a button. It floats to the window, the window opens onto a path of moonbeams, and a tiny golden moth named Flicker invites Luna into the Star Garden. But the star-flowers are fading, and from beyond the crescent trees comes a strange, frightening sound.

Step by step, Luna learns that being brave doesn’t mean never feeling afraid. It means taking one kind step while fear walks beside you. Luna and the Star Garden is a soothing bedtime story about courage, curiosity and the light we carry inside.
