WonderTale House
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the WonderTale House website (wondertalehouse.com) handles, why, and the choices you have. It describes how the website works today and says clearly which features are not switched on.
Who we are
WonderTale House is a children’s storybook publishing brand of Soumya Consultants, a sole proprietorship based in India (“we”, “us”). Soumya Consultants decides how the information described here is used.
Postal address: Soumya Consultants, SF 10, 2nd Floor, Ninex City Mart, Sohna Road, Gurugram, Haryana 122018, India.
Privacy questions and requests: hello@wondertalehouse.com.

Information we collect
When you visit the website
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider, Hostinger, and its content-delivery network record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose problems. We do not add our own visitor tracking. How long these records are kept is explained under “How long we keep information”.
When you email us
If you write to hello@wondertalehouse.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to read and answer your message. Our mailbox is hosted by Hostinger. Please do not include sensitive personal information, or information about a child, in your message.
Features that are not switched on
The website has a contact form and a Story Circle newsletter sign-up that are not active: the form is not available and the sign-up field cannot be used. They collect nothing. Before either is switched on, we will update this policy to explain exactly what it collects, why, for how long and how to unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
What we do not collect
The website has no user accounts, no comments, no shop, no checkout, no payment pages and no downloads. We do not collect payment card or bank details, delivery addresses or order information, and we do not receive them from Amazon.
Cookies
Our public pages do not set cookies for visitors, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The website does not load content from other websites when you view a page.
Cookies are used when a site administrator signs in to manage the website (WordPress sign-in cookies and a caching cookie that keeps signed-in pages private). These are not set for ordinary visitors.
Buying our books on Amazon
Book pages may show buttons such as “Buy on Amazon”. They are ordinary links: when you select one, you leave our website and go to Amazon. Any purchase is made on Amazon, under the terms and privacy policy of Amazon and of the seller of that item. Amazon handles your account, payment, delivery and returns. We do not see or store your payment details, your address or what you buy, and the links do not carry affiliate or tracking codes.
Service providers and other websites
- Hosting, content delivery and email: Hostinger (which, according to its published terms, contracts with customers in India through HOSTINGER PTE LTD, Singapore) hosts the website, delivers its pages through a content-delivery network and hosts our email. It processes the information described above on our behalf and, as its published terms describe, uses its own sub-processors, including content-delivery, cloud and email-delivery providers (outgoing email is relayed through MailChannels).
- Fonts: our typefaces are served from our own website, so viewing a page does not send your details to a font provider.
- Embedded content: we do not embed videos, maps or social-media posts.
- Amazon: see “Buying our books on Amazon” above. Amazon’s own privacy notice applies on Amazon’s websites.
Children
Our books are for children, but this website is meant for the adults who read with them. Children cannot create accounts here, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. We ask young readers to have a parent or another trusted adult write to us instead. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
How we use and share information
We use the information described above only to run the website, keep it secure and reply to messages. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising or share it with anyone except our service providers acting for us, or where the law requires us to disclose it.
Where information is processed
The website’s server is in India (Mumbai). Pages may be delivered from content-delivery locations close to the visitor, and our hosting provider and its sub-processors operate in several countries, so information can be processed outside India. Our hosting provider decides where our email mailbox and its backups are stored and how long it keeps its technical records of website requests. We have not yet confirmed these details with our hosting provider, and we will update this policy when we do.
How long we keep information
- Emails you send us: up to 24 months after our last correspondence with you, then deleted, unless we need to keep them longer because the law requires it or to deal with a dispute.
- Hosting records: for the period set by our hosting provider, which we have not yet confirmed (see “Where information is processed”).
- Website backups do not include your emails, because emails are not stored on the website.
Keeping information secure
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), administrator access is restricted, and backups are kept by our hosting provider and in a private backup set. No website can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw any consent you have given, or raise a concern about how we handle it, by writing to hello@wondertalehouse.com or to our postal address. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the data-protection authority where you live; in India, this is the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, or before we switch on a feature that handles personal information (such as the contact form, the Story Circle newsletter or any direct sales), we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
